We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Global Key Account Manager (m/f/d). This role is pivotal to expanding our global footprint by acquiring new customers, managing strategic relationships, and driving sustainable growth within the FMCG and industrial segments. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in sales and account management to create value-driven partnerships with our key clients.

Global Key Account Manager (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition
    • Identify and target new business opportunities with top-tier FMCG and industrial clients.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and meet revenue targets.
    • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Account Management
    • Build, nurture, and develop relationships with key global accounts to ensure long-term partnerships.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business challenges and objectives. Leverage industry insights and trends to provide value-added recommendations.
    • Act as the main point of contact for global customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of service levels.
  • Cross-functional Coordination
    • Partner with regional sales teams, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery and execution.
    • Represent customer interests internally to influence product development and service improvements.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Monitor account performance against KPIs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Prepare and deliver regular reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management, preferably within FMCG or industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, multinational accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial marking and coding solutions is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Comfortable working in a global environment, with the ability to travel internationally as needed (up to 50%).
