JET3up printers can be monitored and controlled from a computer, tablet or smartphone (JET3up, JET3up PI, JET3up PRO, JET3up MI models). The remote control function is already integrated into the inkjet printers as standard equipment at no extra charge. Using free VNC Viewer software, the screen of the JET3up can be viewed remotely on a computer, tablet or smartphone. The JET3up can also be controlled from outside the production area, such as from the office.
This means you no longer have to check and monitor the status directly at the JET3up. The printer can be operated, even if the device itself is in a hard-to-reach location.
The VNC Viewer remote control software displays the entire JET3up screen on a computer, tablet or smartphone. All functions available on the JET3up can also be used from a computer or other device. This means that jobs can be created and edited in the text and graphic editor, for example. Adjusting the settings or starting the printer is also possible at any time using the software.
All completion messages or warning messages that appear on the JET3up are also shown on the computer, tablet or smartphone screen at the same time. This location-independent status display allows the user to see if messages are being displayed from anywhere, including an office computer. This allows a faster response to messages.
VNC Viewer is available free of charge as an app for the Apple iOS and Android operating systems or as a program for your desktop or laptop computer. In just a few easy steps, you can connect the JET3up inkjet printer to your tablet, smartphone or computer using a WLAN.
Using the remote control function requires a direct connection (Ethernet) between the JET3up and terminal device or that both devices be connected to a local network (LAN).
