Shaping the future actively and successfully has rarely been as challenging for business leaders as it is today. Yet the finalists of the “EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025” competition demonstrate how this is possible with great dedication, perseverance, and belief in their own ideas. Under the motto “Shape The Future with Confidence”, EY once again honors the best owner-managed companies in Germany this year. These are companies that strive every day to deliver top performance for their customers as well as their employees – with the aim of being economically successful while also living up to the societal responsibility that entrepreneurship entails. The competition is supported by ODDO BHF as program partner.
This year, 20 companies have made it to the finals of the competition – among them Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG, a family-owned company from Tuttlingen, Baden-Württemberg, with the CEO and owner Christina Leibinger. Awards will be presented in the categories Family Business, Innovation, Sustainability, and Young Companies. One of the winners will go on to represent Germany at the “EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026” in Monaco.
The winners of this year’s awards will be announced on November 6, 2025, at the Wappenhalle in Munich. The ceremony will be hosted by journalist and entrepreneur Judith Rakers.
A jury of distinguished experts will select the winners based on four key criteria: “Entrepreneurship”, representing entrepreneurial thinking and action; “Purpose”, reflecting a company’s mission and vision; “Growth”, highlighting growth and future potential; and “Impact”, encompassing social impact and corporate responsibility.
In addition, Christina Leibinger has been nominated for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Audience Award, which will be open for public voting on the Manager magazine website from the end of October.
