Why would you clean what doesn't get dirty?

A decisive factor for an efficient coding and marking system is Leibinger's unique Sealtronic® nozzle closure. The technology effectively prevents production downtime due to clogged printer nozzles: When production is stopped, the nozzle automatically seals, closing the ink circuit and preventing it from drying out. When production restarts, the nozzle reopens and continues printing – without the need for cleaning or flushing cycles. Sustainability with inkjet printing – yes, it's possible!

Leibinger's technologies for reducing ink and power consumption have a positive impact on productivity and, in particular, on the environment. A thermal barrier between the ink circuit and the electronics ensures cooler ink and consequently less evaporation and reduced consumption. Completely drainable ink and solvent bottles further decrease consumption and cost per marking imprint, while allowing for easy recycling without hazardous residues. Furthermore, each Leibinger inkjet printer operates with only 20 watts of electrical power consumption, so very little energy is needed to achieve outstanding print results.
